Machine work

Cylinder replating or boring and valve seat cutting are done by a specialized machine shop before final assembly, at your expense.

Top end or full rebuild?

A top end replaces the wear parts above the crank. It’s regular maintenance, and how often you need one depends on how hard you ride.

A full rebuild adds the bottom end: the cases are split, and the crank, main bearings and seals are replaced.

There’s no bottom-end-only price. The top end has to come off to split the cases and go back on once the bottom end is done, so that work is part of every bottom-end job.
